Familiarity with the HVAC and Plumbing service industry will be beneficial for understanding the business and communicating effectively with customers and technicians. Position will be responsible for managing customer interactions related to plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) services. This position requires Monday – Friday, 8:00 am through 5:00 pm and some on call evenings, weekends and holidays.Position Summary: As a Customer Service Representative for Dependable Service Plumbing and Air, you will be the front line of support for clients and all company staff, ensuring satisfaction with products, services and features. This support team member will provide meaningful interactions with all those placed on their path with the goal to be inviting and to build long-term relationships.Work Hours: 40 hour work week / 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. / Monday through Friday / Flexibility Required as some evenings, weekends and holidays will be necessary.Work Location: This position is on-site at the office with some remote when providing on call night, weekend and/or holiday coverage.Essential Functions:

  • Clearly communicates ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Answer incoming calls and address after hour emergencies
  • Providing information about available products and services
  • Resolve customer concerns
  • Dispatch technicians for after hour calls
  • Setting up and scheduling service calls according to company policies
  • Outbound call campaigns to customers for scheduling
  • Maintain and promote positive image of the Company
  • Maintains customer accounts
  • Other duties, as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Plumbing and/or HVAC industry knowledge is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Aggressive self-starter
  • Able to multi-task and answer a multi-line phone system
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Empathy, Dependability and Adaptability
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional phone etiquette
  • Strong attention to detail
