Controller (Contract to hire)
Company: Vaco
- Manages, directs, educates, and supervises members of the finance and accounting team.
- Provides strategic recommendations to the CEO/President and executive management team.
- Oversees cash flow and establishes relations with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Participates in key decisions as part of the executive management team.
- Maintains in-depth relations with all members of the management team.
- Oversees financial operations in foreign locations (Chile, Turkey, and Peru).
- Manages third-party outsourcing of accounting or finance functions.
- Implements operational best practices and reviews formal finance-related procedures and software systems.
- Prepares and issues financial information, reporting results to the board of directors.
- Works closely with HR for censuses, payroll, and yearly reporting.
Requirements: * Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency with Excel and common Microsoft programs.
- Exceptional understanding of software programs across departments.
Compensation:Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $75 – $90 per hour.
