This role combines proactive prospecting and responsive sales development, including handling qualified leads referred from other team members. The ideal candidate is a high-energy, mission-aligned sales professional with experience in church marketing, printing solutions, and a strong network of church relationships.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Drive New Business Growth
- Identify and engage prospective church customers through cold outreach, referrals, events, and digital engagement.
- Conduct a minimum of 20 meaningful sales conversations per week with potential clients.
- Present and demonstrate Outreach products and solutions via phone, video calls, and in-person meetings.
- Guide churches through the sales process, helping them find the right resources for their outreach goals.
- Close new accounts and drive product adoption with a consultative sales approach.
Lead Conversion & Pipeline Management
- Promptly follow up on warm leads and handoffs from marketing, customer service, and other team members.
- Document all outreach, lead activity, and pipeline progress in CRM.
- Coordinate internal handoffs to ensure a smooth transition of closed accounts to account managers when needed.
Customer Relationship Building
- Cultivate relationships with decision-makers and influencers within churches.
- Develop a personal book of business while aligning customer goals with Outreach product offerings.
- Build trust with key accounts to ensure long-term engagement and prevent churn.
- Proactively recommend Outreach tools, print products, and digital solutions that help churches connect with their communities.
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of activity, forecasts, and progress reports.
Provide insights to sales leadership about market feedback, opportunities, and competitive threats. * Contribute to team goals by supporting special campaigns, promotions, and collaborative sales initiatives.OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to live chat inquiries from the Outreach website.
- Assist with order follow-up and coordination with the customer service team.
- Participate in occasional church marketing events or conferences as a representative of Outreach.
- Typing – Minimum requirement of 40 words per minute
- CRM Experience – Past experience working with a customer relationship management system is a must.
- Computer Knowledge – Proficient with general computer skills, email, Google, and Microsoft platforms
- Customer Focus & Service – Always acts with customers in mind, both internal and external. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 7 years of experience in sales
- 3 years of church ministry experience
- Understanding of church marketing and communications
- Proven sales experience
- Track record of over-achieving quota
- Experience working within a CRM
- Familiarity with different sales techniques and pipeline management
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated and driven
- BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred
