Currently, our new state of the art STEAM Academy is under construction on our Pencoed Campus, with completion due for the next academic year in September 2021. This exciting new building will accommodate teaching, learning and support facilities for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

The Academy will be a flagship for showcasing 21st century teaching and learning, bringing economic and cultural growth to the Bridgend County Borough area. This is in line with a bid to develop further employment and training opportunities in the region, in keeping with Welsh Government’s strategic priorities.

As an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Music you will plan, develop, deliver and evaluate the curriculum content of learning programmes providing excellent training across a range of full and part time programmes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a solid musical experience and good theoretical knowledge of music. They will also possess a good historical and contextual understanding of the music industry along with the ability to teach across a range of levels.

With excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to a wide and diverse student population you will be passionate about motivating all learners.

You will also have a relevant degree or higher education qualification.

Hourly-paid Music Lecturer

Ineligibility: £ 21,135 – £ 24,943 per annum (pro rata)

Qualified: £ 26,910 – £ 41,597 per year (pro rata)
