We take pride in our work and strive to create a welcoming and professional environment for both our customers and employees.Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Auto Repair Shop Secretary, Cashier, and Customer Service Representative. This multi-faceted role involves handling administrative tasks, managing customer interactions, and processing payments. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service:
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Schedule and confirm appointments for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and inspections.
- Provide information about services, pricing, and estimated completion times.
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with empathy, ensuring a satisfactory resolution.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain organized records of customer information, vehicle history, and repair orders.
- Prepare and distribute invoices, estimates, and receipts.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
- Assist with filing, data entry, and other clerical tasks as needed.
Cashier Responsibilities:
- Process customer payments accurately, including cash, credit, and debit transactions.
- Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Provide customers with change and receipts.
- Handle refunds and returns according to company policy.
Office Maintenance:
- Ensure the front office and waiting area are clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in an auto repair or similar environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of basic automotive terminology is a must.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with hours Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Occasional lifting of light office supplies.
