Responsibilities
The Assistant Director provides leadership, oversight, and coordination of pharmacy operational activities. Responsible for coordination of human and material resources, quality and safety initiatives, and departmental policy and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree and three years experience in institutional or outpatient pharmacy practice or equivalent experience. Equivalent experience includes at least four years of relevant pharmacy practice experience or with a residency and two years of relevant pharmacy practice experience. The following additional training and experience is preferred: Completion of a PGY1 residency or advanced degree in business (MS, MBA, MHA). Three to five years experience in institutional or outpatient pharmacy practice with one year functioning in a supervisory capacity. Eligible for licensure by the Florida Board of Pharmacy. Eligible for licensure as a Florida consultant pharmacist.
