Job description: Department FHSU Online & Military-Connected Student ServicesJob Posting Title Assistant Director of FHSU Online Recruitment, FHSU Online & Military-Connected Student ServicesJob DescriptionA member of the FHSU Online & Military-Connected Student Services leadership team, the Assistant Director of FHSU Online Recruitment oversees all aspects of online transfer and non-traditional student recruitment initiatives. The successful candidate must have a proven record of collaboration, communication, professionalism, and interpersonal skills, with experience in higher education recruitment or support.Reports to: Director of FHSU Online & Military-Connected Student ServicesMinimum Qualifications: Qualified candidates should have a master’s degree or be working towards a master’s degree with two years of related experience in higher education.Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with transfer, non-traditional, and military-connected student populations.
- Demonstrated experience in analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data reports.
- Supervisory experience.
- Effective written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficient in office technology applications (i.e., Microsoft Office, Adobe) as demonstrated by the application documents.
Responsibilities:Enrollment Goals
- Oversee all aspects of prospective student management by utilizing the customer relationship management (CRM) system Hubspot and student information system (SIS) Workday to create communication plans and recruitment reports.
- Oversee all facets of online and military-connected student recruitment.
- Coordinate, as the primary point of contact, all transfer recruitment questions, processes, and external visits with community college partners in coordination with the on-campus Admissions department.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and relevant offices to improve transfer student recruitment, partnerships and communication with community colleges, and transfer student functions in a cross-collaborative effort with the on-campus Admissions department.
- Supervise the unofficial transcript evaluation process for online and military-connected students.
- Oversee the marketing and administration of online and transfer student scholarships.
- Oversee online/digital recruitment event planning coordinated by the Coordinator – Online Recruitment.
- Utilize technology to manage prospective online and military-connected student communications such as HubSpot Meetings, phone scripts, email templates, text message templates, and mass campaigns.
- Work with appropriate staff and departments to develop digital, print, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with team members to manage FHSU Online’s social media accounts and campaigns for recruitment purposes and oversee the social media plan.
Supervision
- Supervise the Coordinator of FHSU Online Recruitment.
- Supervise the Military Admissions Advisor.
Assessment
- Prepare reports, proposals, and written statements regarding online and military-connected student recruitment activities to internal and external stakeholders. Develop assessments to measure the success of online and military-connected student recruitment initiatives, programming, and events. Leadership
- Assist with creating and implementing the yearly strategic plan for FHSU Online.
- Provide training and professional development opportunities for direct reports.
- Advise the university on matters related to online student recruitment.
FHSU Community
- Participate in the FHSU community through committee work, volunteer efforts, event attendance, and other opportunities as appropriate.
