You will be responsible for managing key accounts, fostering client satisfaction, providing client education when needed, and ensuring seamless coordination between interpreters and clients for both on-site and video remote appointments.This position holds significant responsibility, involving the navigation of incoming requests, troubleshooting, and managing any issues related to assignments or cancellations for the following day.   • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and serving as their primary point of contact; and providing client education as needed.
  • Understanding Client Requirements: Comprehensive understanding of the service level agreements in their contract to ensure that we operate within these parameters. Collaborate with clients to grasp their specific interpretation needs and preferences for various appointments to ensure our services align with their objectives.
  • Interpreter Coordination: Facilitate the scheduling and coordination of interpreters for both on-site and video remote appointments, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
  • Solution Delivery: Work closely with internal teams to ensure interpreters are well-informed and prepared for appointments, meeting client expectations.
  • Account Profitability: Ensure that you are taking all measures to meet the profitability metrics for your assigned accounts; working with our Vendor Recruitment team if you require additional resources that better support your profitability targets.
  • Teamwork & Knowledge Sharing: Foster a collaborative environment by actively participating in team initiatives, sharing insights, and contributing to knowledge exchange sessions to enhance the collective expertise of the team.
  • Retention and Renewals: Proactively address client concerns, and ensure we are providing the highest level of customer service giving us the greatest likelihood of renewal. Provide feedback when requested to our RFP team on your ability to perform on contracts given the current parameters. Indicate what factors would impact your ability to perform better on the contract for future contract renewals/ bid opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market demands to contribute insights for business strategy and vendor recruitment opportunities.
  • Account Growth: Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling services to expand revenue streams within assigned accounts.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience: Previous experience (3 years) in account management, preferably within the language services or interpretation industry.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and coordinate with interpreters.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Ability to translate client needs into tailored solutions and coordinate interpreter services accordingly.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple accounts, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth interpreter-client coordination.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing client requirements and industry trends.
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree: A degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a Language related field is preferred.
  • Bilingual/ Multilingual is a plus!

THE DETAILS

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM Eastern Time (EST) or 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time (PST).
  • Compensation: $40,000 – $50,000/ yr commensurate with experience. There is also potential for a performance-based bonus, subject to individual performance and overall company profitability.
  • Location: Remote (Work from home, anywhere in the US!) This is a fully remote position, but for legal and tax reasons, you must be located within the United States to be eligible.
  • Employment Type: Full-time (40 hours/week)
