Job description: Desktop SupportJob SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Systems Engineer with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in desktop support and will work in a hybrid remote model. This role involves day shifts and does not require travel. The Systems Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure providing remote desktop support and contributing to the overall efficiency of our systems.Responsibilities

  • Provide remote desktop support to end-users ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  • Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of desktop systems and software.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to implement and maintain IT policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular system updates and patches to maintain security and performance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT projects and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT standards and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations changes and issues.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on IT systems and software.
  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of new IT tools and technologies.
  • Support the IT team in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT processes and workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand and address their IT needs.

Qualifications

  • Possess a strong technical background in desktop support with hands-on experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Have experience with remote desktop support tools and technologies.
  • Show proficiency in installing configuring and maintaining desktop systems and software.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
  • Have a good understanding of IT security practices and protocols.
  • Be capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

Certifications Required

  • CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
