Job description: Description:Remote is OK would like to come onsite to Milwaukee area if possible once every couple of months to travel to primary sites in SE Wisconsin. Not a deal breaker but very strong preference to be able to travel to WI occasionally.2 rounds of interviewsStart date would be as soon as possible after interviewing and onboarding.First shift Monday-Friday. 8 people 5 windows side 3 people mobile side.Team has taken some credibility hits mistakes etc, leadership issues looking to revamp with new manager.Team is currently working on migrating Intune to Workspace One for ios devices.Technical skills to know – Autopilot, Co-management, mcm, workspace.Looking for someone who is a leader, organized, can motivate the team, develop road maps and milestones for the team, interact with the other teams of the company and client technologies. Critical thinking skills.Summary: Responsible for overall development, implementation and maintenance of endpoint technologies. for client health information systems. Works to ensure endpoints deliver at a service level consistent with the needs and expectations of the organization. Proactively interact with key customers and leaders to build customer relationships and ensure operations are managed in coordination with organizational needs and expectations. Other duties as assigned.Responsibilities:
- Manages endpoint technologies including hardware and software supporting client devices such as imaging, deployment and packaging software for windows and iOS/MAC devices, desktop GPO and device security patching.
- Using industry leading practices, ensures security, high availability and performance of all endpoint systems.
- Coordinates with other IT departments to ensure proper implementation of endpoint infrastructure in support of business application initiatives.
- Provides reports regarding the effectiveness of endpoint infrastructure and proactively makes recommendations for the adoption of new technologies and/or procedures.
- Develops work plan and allocates resources for the design and implementation of endpoint computing hardware and software.
- Works with Epic core team to manage Epic system upgrades.
- Ensure departmental and team standards for configuration control are followed including quality assurance in conjunction with change management leading practices. Develops, enhances and implements improvements where needed
- Sets measurable and attainable goals related to endpoints, monitors staff performance and conducts performance appraisal. Fulfills staff development, hiring, termination, and evaluation requirements.
- Works closely with the service desk and client technologies management to insure high availability and rapid resolution of endpoint escalations.
- Works closely with the IT security officer to ensure high levels of endpoint security.
- Assists in budget development and management. Develops and manages short and long-term operating and capital budgets in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Follow departmental methodology standards including Project management, change management, testing, and security requirements.
Experience required:
- Three years of experience in a management position supporting computing infrastructure and in a customer support role with high customer satisfaction goals is required.
- If candidate is internal, acceptable backgrounds can be a combination of seven years of internal and external IT experience along with demonstrated leadership work, leadership coursework and demonstrated leadership capability.
Experience preferred: Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Enterprise and Mobility technologies, vendor/contract and License management, implementation and management within the ITIL ITSM framework, preferred.Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, or related technology field or acquired through combination of education and experience, required.Special skills required:
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of hospital system staff, vendors and IT Personnel.
- Strong ability to define, communicate and ensure processes, policies and procedures are executed in accordance with desired management outcomes.
- Must possess the ability to deliver clear, concise communications and presentations.
- Must be able to effectively and efficiently train others in key IT concepts.
- Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
- Strong management and project management capabilities.
Pay rate: $30 per hour
