Job description: Job Description:We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Blue Ash, Ohio. The role involves managing financial reporting, payroll tasks, labor allocation, bank reconciliations, and dealing with unclaimed funds among other responsibilities.Responsibilities:
- Handle financial reporting tasks
- Manage payroll tasks including leave of absence work.
- Process labor allocation from Paycor , credit spreadsheet and reallocate back to create Journal Entries.
- Conduct bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, both large and small.
- Take charge of unclaimed funds processes.
- Pull invoices, cleared checks from 3rd party system to submit to mortgage.
- Utilize skills such as Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Bank Reconciliations, Journal Entries, and Month End Close.
- Maintain financial records and ensure data accuracy.
- Resolve customer inquiries and process customer applications efficiently.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Requirements:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with 2 years experience
- Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Proven experience with Bank Reconciliations.
- Ability to prepare and maintain Journal Entries.
- Demonstrated expertise in handling Month End Close activities.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Expected salary: $26 – 30 per hour
