Responsibilities

Performs retail sales operations in the corresponding Mayo Clinic Gift Shop location. Assists customers with sale of product, competent in use of point of sales system, stocks and merchandises inventory, provides excellent customer service to patients, visitors, Mayo employees and internal department representatives in a fast paced environment. Assists in coordinating gift shop operations. Works cooperatively with gift shop manager/supervisor in the realm of inventory control, product merchandising, record keeping, marketing and promotions. Receives all merchandise; must be able to lift/move all inventory.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. One year of previous customer/patient experience required. One year of point of sales fundamentals required. One year of retail sales and merchandise experience required.Strong interpersonal skills, teamwork, and organizational skills. Strong human relations/communication skills and ability to problem solve and make quick decisions. Knowledge/use of the internet, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel basic applications.

Schedule Details

This is a closing position. Monday – Friday 1:30pm -5:30pm
In 2025, hours could change to 2:00pm – 6:00pm depending on business needs.
Will be working at both Saint Marys and the Methodist locations.

Weekend Schedule

Every other Saturday when needed. 8:30am-12:30pm

In 2025, hours could change to 8:30am to 1:30pm depending on business needs.
