Job description: Role SummaryThe Brand Stylist is responsible for supporting Anthropologie’s in-store and online home styling programs, serving as an expert in furniture, décor and home goods as it pertains to retail & online home design services program. The objective of this role is to deliver brand-directed styling projects and initiatives to drive selling, elevate the customer experience and enhance the quality of our styling programs.Role Responsibilities

  • Acts as a mentor and resource for Home Styling roles in the field & collaborates with visual partners as needed
  • Provides customers with virtual styling consultations including product recommendations tailored to their space needs with mood boards, space plans and room renderings using brand-directed styling POV.
  • Creates branded styling content & tools for retail education purposes, including seasonal styling concepts, space planning, decorating & styling tutorials in partnership with the Brand Service & Selling Team
  • Supports retail showrooms for furniture & décor by designing digital showrooms based on the brand direction, and customize as needed for the individual store
  • Supports buying and allocation teams with sorting showrooms associated décor to specific stores & markets. Maintains & organizes documentation as needed.
  • Partners with the Sr. Stylists/Styling Managers to build program tools & strategies. Develops relationships with cross-functional partners and supports global brand strategy to elevate home & furniture initiatives.
  • Attends & participates in cross-functional product, visual & marketing meetings at Home Office on a regular basis to ensure comprehension & alignment with home styling POV
  • Communicates styling information & updates with the field and hosts calls/workshops as requested
  • Shares stylist and customer feedback with appropriate partners & identifies solutions
  • Supports Online Styling Team with customer requests & project completion
  • Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, workshop coordination, program tracking, organization & reporting
  • Other duties as assigned

Role Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience working in interior design, home styling or decorating
  • Enthusiastic people-oriented individual who is passionate about the customer and demonstrates desire to help others grow and develop styling skills
  • Passion for interiors & home decorating with a strong understanding of the Anthropologie brand, customer and retail environment
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and must be comfortable participating in/delivering video & photo content
  • Highly motivated with strong organizational and follow through skills
  • Capacity to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment, deals well with complexity
  • Innovative, self-starter who can effectively manage deadlines for self
  • Ability inspire creative thinkers in complex businesses, not afraid to ‘roll up sleeves’ and dig in, maintains optimistic outlook
  • Ability to take feedback and make adjustments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to translate brand-directed trends into home styling direction with expert understanding in apparel & home styling principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite programs & Canva and basic design skills
  • Experience with space planning software such as Spoak, CAD, etc.
  • Ability to accommodate domestic travel and working in stores as needed
