Salary: £30,000 – 60,000 per year
Requirements:

- Solid experience with PHP, particularly with CodeIgniter (2+ years of commercial experience)
- •
- Strong understanding of MySQL – including database design and optimisation
- •
- Proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery)
- •
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
- •
- Hands-on experience with Git version control
- •
- A product-focused mindset, ideally with experience working in a startup or fast-paced digital environment
- •
- Someone who’s collaborative, innovative, and excited by building something from the ground up
Responsibilities:
- •
- Building and maintaining scalable, robust web applications in PHP (CodeIgniter)
- •
- Working with MySQL for efficient, optimised data management
- •
- Writing clean, efficient and maintainable code
- •
- Developing front-end features with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery

- Collaborating with internal teams to transform UX/UI designs into functional components

- Troubleshooting and debugging to ensure smooth and seamless performance

- Working with APIs and contributing to data-driven feature development

- Championing best practices in code security, scalability, and performance

- Supporting CI/CD processes

- Playing an active role in shaping the product and contributing to our startup’s evolution
