Employment Type: Full-Time (40 Hours per week)
Salary (Wage): $24.74-$26.69/hr DOEPosition Summary: As a Staff Accountant at One Health, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of our organization. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with grant and regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our finance operations. You’ll work closely with internal teams to manage transactions, analyze data, and support audits and reporting processes—all while helping us deliver quality healthcare to rural communities.Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile: Review and reconcile financial transactions, including credit card and grant-related entries.
- Analyze: Monitor and analyze monthly financial data to support accurate reporting and decision-making.
- Prepare: Create journal entries, financial statements, and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure: Maintain compliance with GAAP, HRSA, and grant-specific regulations.
- Support: Assist with audits, tax filings, and budget preparation.
- Collaborate: Communicate across departments to ensure financial accuracy and transparency.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Associate’s Degree or in lieu of degree, four (4) years’ of experience field, or a combination of schooling and experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience: One (1) years of experience in bookkeeping
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Sage Intacct or other accounting software preferred. Healthcare and/or non-profit accounting experience is a huge plus
