Job description: Staff AccountantLocation: South Orange County (Onsite)Salary: $70,000 – $75,000We’re seeking a Staff Accountant with 3+ years of experience to join a growing team in South Orange County. This is a full-time onsite role with a strong focus on Excel and general accounting duties.Key Responsibilities:
- Record routine journal entries with full documentation
- Complete account reconciliations, including cash and bank accounts
- Reconcile monthly P&L and perform bank reconciliations
- Review AP and AR postings to ensure proper coding and identify needed accruals or reclassifications
- Assist with the yearly inventory counts at branch locations
- Prepare various cash audits
- Support month-end close process
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel skills (vlookup, pivot tables)
- Knowledge of US GAAP
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills
- Highly organized and a strong team player
