Director, HR Operations – Core HR

- Design, maintain, and update organizational structures in alignment with business strategy and growth.
- Own and manage job architecture, position control, and headcount tracking across departments.
- Partner with finance and business leaders to ensure workforce planning aligns with budget and strategic objectives.
Personnel Administration:
- Oversee HR administrative functions including employee records, employment agreements, data accuracy, and audit readiness.
- Ensure data integrity and compliance across all employee records and HR systems.
- Lead the administration of employee changes (promotions, transfers, terminations, etc.) with speed, accuracy, and compliance.
Employee Lifecycle Operations:
- Develop and manage standardized processes for the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through offboarding.
- Improve employee onboarding experiences to drive early engagement and productivity.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to implement effective offboarding processes including exit interviews and knowledge transfer.
- Monitor lifecycle KPIs and employee data trends to inform operational improvements.
Benefits Operations:
- Oversee day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, retirement, leaves of absence, and wellness initiatives.
- Collaborate with brokers, carriers, and vendors to ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient benefits operations.
- Manage open enrollment processes, employee education, and benefits communications.
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable laws and regulations.
QualificationsWhat you’ll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SPHR, SHRM-SCP) a plus.
- 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in HR Operations leadership.
- Deep knowledge of HR Operations best practices, especially in organizational structure, employee lifecycle management, and benefits.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP) and a strong understanding of HR data reporting and analytics.
- Proven ability to lead and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and compliance.
- Solid project management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of three days per week.This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
