Job description: Job DetailsPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: UndisclosedTravel Percentage: NegligibleJob Shift: 1st ShiftDescriptionLeading Paragraph:The HR Manager will plan, lead, develop, and coordinate the policies, HR activities for Jay Group, ensuring legal compliance and implementation aligned with the organization’s core values. HR Manager duties will involve managing activities such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and talent management. The individual is responsible for all areas of Human Resources for three facilities and will be a hands-on-member of the HR Team at our Corporate Office in Lancaster, PA.HR Manager Job Responsibilities: * Leads HR activities for Jay Group and provides support to the HR Team for all three facilities that operate seven days a week with two shifts per day. Will need to travel to remote facilities including the Reno, NV facility on occasion.

  • Oversee the entire employee life cycle to enhance their work experience.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating strategies around company policies and procedures.
  • Provides guidance to the Management Team to maintain legal compliance.
  • Guides HR Team and Managers/Supervisors on employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Responsible for ensuring all benefits for employees are competitive in the marketplace. Active member of the teams for selection of insurance and 401K benefits. In addition, provide support for annual audits required under ERISA.
  • Management of compensation information along with salary analysis for all positions.
  • Oversee Safety and Security to ensure a safe work environment for anyone onsite at a Jay Group facility.
  • Negotiate contracts with partners such as recruiting firms, staffing agencies, HRIS system, and other partnerships with HR.
  • Provide back-up support to HR Generalists as required.

QualificationsQualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration is preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in a leadership position.
  • Previous HR experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Professional, detail oriented, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Previous experience with an HRIS/Payroll system is preferred.
  • The ability to multi-task and thrive on working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excel in providing great customer service.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is preferred but not required.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR is recommended or the desire to become certified.
