Job description: Title: Desktop EngineerRole Details:Location: Newark, Del.Duration: Full time hire roleSalary range: $85-$95k plus full benefits and bonusStart: ASAPRole is Hybrid. 2/days a week onsite, 3/days are remote.Must be a US citizen.Desktop Engineer – Summary:The Desktop Engineer plays a critical role in ensuring a seamless desktop and mobile experience for users while adhering to proper security and compliance requirements. This position involves overseeing and managing key platforms, including SCCM, Intune, Conditional Access policies, Group Policies, and Asset Management.Desktop Engineer – Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring technology and SOPs are defined for endpoint upgrades.
- Maintain and enhance the overall desktop experience for end users.
- Oversee configuration and deployment processes for endpoint operating systems and applications.
- Implement and support security measures, including conditional access controls and policies.
- Ensure compliance across desktop and mobile environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align IT infrastructure with organizational goals.
- Provide technical leadership in managing the desktop ecosystem. Partner with ServiceDesk team and be willing to work directly with end users as needed.
- Work closely with system administrators, service desk analysts, and end users to address IT challenges effectively.
Desktop Engineer – Qualifications:
- Must have expertise in managing and supporting SCCM, Intune, Group Policies, Entra, Windows operating systems, and related technologies.
Expected salary: $85000 – 95000 per year
