Job description: Work Location: Grand Prairie, TX (limited remote work allowed) or couple of days per month.Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced Accounting Knowledge: Proficiency in accounting principles and practices, and strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to manage and lead and mentor a team of accounting professionals and staff.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey financial information effectively.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve financial issues efficiently.
Education and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a proven track record of leadership and financial management (minimum of 3 years in a leadership role), preferably as a Controller.
