UK Police is responding to an incident at a park where Black Lives Matter protests took place in the southern English city of Reading. British media reported at least 3 people were killed and several are injured.

At least three people have been killed, while two more have been hospitalized in critical condition, local media reported, citing sources. The incident prompted a major police response, yet law enforcement did not elaborate on what exactly happened.
“We are aware of reports of an incident in Forbury Gardens, Reading. Officers are on the scene and investigating the incident,” Thames Valley Police said on Twitter.
The leader of Reading Council, Councillor Jason Brock, described the event as a “serious incident” and urged the public to avoid the town center altogether.
