Quarantine rules to be scrapped for 50 countries as pubs to open from 6am and deaths hit 43,995

QUARANTINE rules have been dropped for Brits arriving in England from more than 50 countries.

Holidaymakers will no longer need to worry about a 14-day quarantine upon their return from July 10.

Travellers will be able to go on holiday to destinations such as Spain, France and Italy without the need to self isolate when they are back in the UK.

Transport Secretary Grant Shapps revealed earlier that the government are using a traffic light system to distinguish the prevalence of coronavirus in each country listed.

Meanwhile, pubs can reopen from 6am tomorrow in what is being dubbed Super Sunday.

As of Thursday, the coronavirus death toll in the UK has reached 43,995 after 89 more deaths in Britain and Northern Ireland.
