The Blue’s won’t want to lose the momentum they have going as they still have an FA-Cup semi-final to play against Arsenal later in July.

When is Southampton vs Man City?

  • The Saints host Manchester City for an evening kick off time of 7pm BST on Sunday, July 5.
  • St Mary’s Stadium plays host for the game.
  • As with all matches since the restart began, it will be played behind closed doors.

Pierre-Emile Hojberg missed the Saint’s last match at Watford after being stripped of the captaincy before football resumed.

Danny Ings is expected to start up front and is chasing the Golden Boot as he superb season continues.

City will be without Leroy Sane who remains injured and is heading to Bayern Munich, while Sergio Aguero out injured for the rest of the season.

Eric Garcia and Phil Foden may stay in the starting XI as they impressed against Liverpool with Gabriel Jesus to lead the line.
