Boris Johnson scraps sex ban and introduces ‘support bubble’ for single people as deaths hit 41,128 – The Sun

BORIS Johnson has lifted a ban on sex and a further easing of COVID-19 lockdown restrictions from the weekend.

During today’s Downing Street press conference, the Prime Minister announced that single adult households will be able to form a ‘support bubble’ with one other household.

From this weekend,  single adult households or households with single parents caring for children under 18 will be allowed allowed to mix.

He said: “There are too many people, particularly those who live by themselves who are lonely and struggling with being unable to see friends and family.

“From this weekend we will allow single adult households, living alone, or single parents with children under 18, to form a support bubble with one other household.”

It comes as the coronavirus death toll in the UK reached 41,128 on Wednesday – but the Office for National Statistics believes the actual figure is 51,766 up to June 9.
