Sofia, July 29 (BTA) – The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in
Bulgaria rose by 250 since yesterday, out of 5,330 PCR tests,
according to data published on the national coronavirus
information portal. The most new cases were confirmed in Sofia –
55, Plovdiv – 24, and Blagoevgrad – 22.
The total number of COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 10,871,
and 4,750 of them are active.
With 181 new recoveries since yesterday, the total number of
recovered patients reached 5,766. Currently, 699 people are
hospitalized, and 40 of them are in intensive care.
The COVID-19 death toll in Bulgaria reached 355, with 8 new
casualties over the past 24 hours.
A total of 638 medical staff are infected.
